Who’s Looking After Us?
Supporting grandparents who are caring full-time for their grandchildren. This online course provides information to professionals working with grandparents who are caring for their grandchildren in a full-time capacity. This project funded by Investing in Women Program NSW 2021 was created to establish a support program for grandparents who are placed with the responsibility of care of their grandchildren due to their parents being unable to care for them.

Supporting children, young people and adults with intellectual disability who have been impacted by sexual assault
Rosie’s Place has been providing counselling and support to children and young people who have intellectual disability and impacted by sexual assault for many years. We have been supported by the Education Centre Against Violence, Women NSW, The Law and Justice Foundation, and Westpac Foundation. Through this support, Rosie’s Place has created many resources and training packages for workers to support their work with clients impacted by sexual assault.
Children displaying concerning sexual behaviours also known as Problematic/Harmful Sexual Behaviours (PHSB)
Rosie’s Place provides support for parents, carers and workers who are responding to children and young people who have displayed concerning sexual behaviours. Parents, carers and some workers (including educators etc) are often the first adults to respond to sexual behaviours displayed by children and young people.
Rosie’s Place workers can support parents, carers and workers to feel confident to provide a caring and respectful response to children and young people and for families to feel supported by the workforce.
Training and Supervision
Rosie’s Place staff can provide training and supervision to schools, services and organisations to support their work with children and young people impacted by violence.

Working with clients who have an intellectual disability in the context of sexual assault
Working with mothers (and their children) who have escaped a violent partner
